Farmington Retiree Roundup 2011

Our 2011 EPNG Retiree Roundup was a huge success. We had 154 in attendance. Mary’s Kitchen, the food provider at the college, did an excellent job serving our dinner It was enjoyed by all. The college staff did a great job setting up the rooms.

We gave three door prizes this year. Mrs. Joe Valentine, Benny, won one and I cannot remember who the other two winners were. The couple who won the prize for traveling the longest distance to attend was the James Compland, 1150 miles.

Frede Orgen read the names of the Retirees who passed away this past year. There were 16 employees in this group, and 7 wives of our retirees.

I want to thank the college, Mary’s Kitchen and my helpers, Pam Gilmore, Frede Ogren, Ted Dennard, Larry Baker, and my wife, Ethel. You all made our 2011 Roundup very successful.
